General Conditions

General

  • The use of the content is the responsibility of the visitor.
  • OM can adapt the general conditions, privacy terms, the disclaimer and the license conditions at any time.
  • OM accepts no liability for the content, the use of the pages, the correctness of the construction plans and the technical data.
  • Further is subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the openmovement association.

Movements

  • Whoever uses OM’s plans for the manufacture of a movement undertakes to mark the movement with the OM calibre number in the area of the balance according to OM’s specifications (classic Ebauche designation), and to engrave his movement visibly with his own name or company (signature/stamp). Each manufacturer stands alone for the quality of his product.
  • All published plans are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0).
  • 2D and 3D data may be commercially traded by OM and are subject to purchase terms.

Community plateform (future)

  • Association openmovement (hereafter OM) may delete community platform entries or block users and members without justification.
  • No viruses or inappropriate content may be introduced in to the website or in the community plateform. Also no content may be published that has nothing to do with openmovement and watchmaking.
  • Communication should be based on politeness and mutual respect.
  • No copyrighted material may be distributed.
  • Each user is personally responsible for his/her own content.
  • Excerpts from the community plateform may not be published elsewhere.
  • OM may freely use entries and ideas from the forum for publications of any kind that serve the purpose of OM.
  • Expressly forbidden are statements which glorify violence, are discriminatory, contemptuous of humanity or otherwise punishable. Links to pages with such content are also prohibited.
  • We also prohibit links without reference to the topic or with commercial intent and the publication of e-mail addresses.
