Project OM10

This basic watch movement is intended to be a workhorse which can be used as a simple three hand movement as well as a drive for an individual module. The following basic specifications have been defined by the committee to act as a basis for the first openmovement watch movement.

The gear train construction uses the standard that requires the most space for the tooth tips

Thus, later on, each manufacturer can choose the preferred standard (e.g. NIHS 20-02, NHS 56702 / 56703)
